CDN

A Content Distribution Network (CDN) is a system of distributed servers that deliver web content to a user based on the geographic locations of the user, the origin of the web page and the content delivery server.

Relation to GDPR

CDNs have privacy implications relating to GDPR as they can store and distribute user data across multiple servers in different jurisdictions. This raises concerns about where user data is stored and how it is protected. GDPR requires that companies take steps to protect user data from unauthorized access and disclosure. CDNs may not meet these requirements if user data is stored on servers in multiple jurisdictions.
